  1. Hello,

The following shows up in the Network Admin Dashboard after activation: buddypress components do not have associated wordpress pages: Gallery (repair)

Based on this site's instructions, no where did it state that I needed to create a "Gallery" page and then map the new Buddypress component to it.

I am using Wordpress 3.2.1, Buddypress 1.5.1, and the latest Buddypress template pack in my Woo Theme (Announcement). My set up works great, btw. :-)

Anyway, I placed the "Gallery" folder in the Announcement Theme folder, and BP Gallery in the plugins folder.

So, am I supposed to create my own page and then point the Gallery to it? Thank you!

  2. Hi Quint,
with BuddyPress 1.5, you will need to create a page.
I am updating the intstallation instructions today.

    1. Please create apage, and associate it with Gallery in BuddyPress pages settings
    2. make sure to disable the Gallery Directory link in the Gallery settings(It is not required anymore)
    3. Logout and login and try creating gallery.(Yes you have done it right by putting the gallery in the theme folder)

    Hope that helps.
