Buddypress 1.5 beta 1 released

    Sneaky, sneaky! The release is tagged 1.5, not 1.3. I know this is beta, but I'm eager to test. Brajesh, when will we see updated plugins with 1.5 compatibility?

    yeh, I saw that.

    BP-Gallery will have a minor release today in the evening for compatibility. I will also publish a list of plugins which won't need any update for 1.5.

    As of other plugins, each and every plugin will be compatible by Sunday evening.

    Here is the current gallery plugin(1.0 branch) updated for 1.5 beta, It will work with the current beta1 as well as the buddypress trunk.

    It is just an update of the current gallery

    The new gallery plugin which I have been writing for 1.3 will come in 2 weeks with all the features I have promised.

  5. Sadly, this doesn't work today. I get a blank white page for the gallery. I'm running BP trunk as of today, and bp-gallery-1.0.9.1

  6. oops, there might have been some more change in trunk last night. Try that will the beta release instead. The trunk is still not like anything stable, so I think, the best thing would be to wait for the RC.

  7. Okay, I'll go back to the beta and try that.

    I grabbed trunk because I saw there was at least one bug in beta that they fixed in trunk.

    Edit: I reverted to BP 1.5-beta-1 and I still have a white screen.

    I also deleted my bp-custom.php to make sure that isn't breaking anything. Are there any other Buddypress plugins that might intersect with the gallery and break things?

    It isn't working with the bp-default theme either.

    That would be very strange. I am Running it on WordPress 3.2.1(multisite)+ BuddyPress 1.5 beta1 at the moment and It is working fine for me. One thing to note though, Make sure to move "gallery" folder to bp-default theme.

  9. I don't think I moved that folder to the bp-default theme. Let me try that.

    Edit: Sure enough it is that. And that step is in the documentation. I'm not sure why I forgot or missed it. But the plugin appears to work now. Thanks again for your support!
