  1. I was just wondering if there is any plugin out there that anybody has heard of, or if it would be possible to modify the group category blog plugin for individual users.

What I am looking for is a simple user blog (without using wordpress network) that would be part of their buddypress profile. I want them to use it as a journal, or note taking, where they would have journal entries by date, and that they could make public or private.

Does anybody know of anything like this, or would it even be possible to do.

    Thanks!

  2. Hi Bryce,
Thanks for posting the topic. There does not exist a plugin at the moment as far as I know.

@mercime had suggested the same for User blog and I am going for that. we have a problem because I don't see a good front end post editor at the moment. It will be pretty easy to add the functionality but we will need a general purpose front end post editor first. I am sure, I am going to put a plugin for this in very near future but first a front end post editor.

Here are some good-looking codes I'm playing around with for a front-end post-form for my theme. Worth looking into...

  4. Hi Patrick,
Thanks for the suggestion. Those are basic techniques for allowing to add post from front end. I am looking for something which will allow adding/editing/deleting etc from front end(and ofcourse all the gui+post meta thing). Anyway, I am still looking for one as well as doing one on my own, so Let us see what comes next.
