Categories Archive on a page

1. I'm trying to find a code to put into one of my pages
   that calls a specific category and displays a thumbnail description and link to the specific post
   for example,

   the category bookings will call all pages under bookings and links to open the post.

3. Great plugin, and thanks for the recommendation,

   however I think I'm looking for one that I can customise to pull from a specific category not all categories.

4. Well, you mean something like a short code to specify the category id/name and then show the post list inside page.

   Also, I am sure you are using the post thumbnail(now featured image in wp 3.0) feature. If yes, I can put the code as a plugin if you want.
