    how can i create a drop-down menu with the existing categories in the sub-menu-line?

    There are two ways to do that. Either enable the wordpress custom menu for secondary nav and build a multilevel menu as you wish from Appearance->Menus and assign that to secondary menu. other way is to check the box that says use category/pages as navigation, but I recommend the first way, as that gives you complete control.

  4. Ok, once again:
    Now the thing with the custom menu works, but i want to have a drop down-menu (link: http://www.geislingen.org/ ) like:

    First topic (custom title possible?)
    -sub-topic 1
    -sub topic 2
    .
    .
    .

    At the moment my categories are all in the sub-navigation...

  5. Hi,
    You can create drop down in the Appearance->menu section. Just align your nav items(category/pages) to a little right. I guess you will need to experiment a little with the Appearance->menu section to see how it works. You can create upto any level there and yes, just clcik on edit on the menu item an you can change label. This is the functionality of wordpress 3.0 custom menu.
