Global Forum Feature Requests

1. There are a few things I'd like to see in Global forums.

   1. A widget for recent posts
   2. When you create a forum category, it shows up on the main screen as always having 0 posts. All posts counts should be hidden from categories.
   3. The mark favorite option should be displayed for all posts. Currently, it only displays for posts you create.
   4. Nicer styling. Some of the text is almost on top of each other and hard to read. All the post are the same color (an alternating background on each post would go a long way to making things easier to read).
   5. The ability to get a notification when someone replies to your post in the BP notification area.

   Overall, it's pretty good; but a few improvements would make it great.

2. Another good feature would be the ability to move a post from one forum to another. It's pretty common to see new users post in the incorrect forum when you have several. A simple move function under post edits would be perfect.

3. Hi Brad,
   Thanks for the post.

   I have been working on your other request(hiding the topic/posts and making some of the forums members only), and It will require an update to global forum itself.

   I completely agree moving the topic from one forum to another is an absolute requirement and will certainly include in the updated global forum.

   I will be traveling for a couple of days and will not be able to do much but I will be back on 8th January,. so I hope to get back to this topic on 8th-10th Jan. Adding it to my favorite topic for future reference.

4. You can't get notifications on replies to your forum posts? That would be a verrry nice addition if you find the time.

   My add-on is that the notifications would be combined, so if 16 people reply to one forum posts, it will say "16 people replied to..." instead of 16 different notifications :)
