Is there an easy way to make a topic rise to the top of my activity page

1. As a topic becomes more popular, when people are repling to it and commenting on it, is there anyway to make that topic rise to the top like Facebook?

   Also is there a way for an admin to make a something sticky at the top of the activity stream?

2. Hi Chris,
   there is a plugin which does it(not exactly what you want but most probably it should help)
   http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/buddypress-activity-stream-bump-to-top/

   Also, the same logic can be used for making an activity sticky.
