member showing 0% of quota available although gallery is empty

1. I've cleared all caches (using w3tc), am using maxcdn as mirror for content uploads, and yet it still won't let the user upload. Error message: Garr...Upload Failed! Error was: Your Quota Has exceeded.

   Any ideas?

2. Hi Joey,
   this is a problem with caching.
   Please check your caching plugins and delete any cache. Then try again.

3. I deactivated the cache plugin, cleared browser cache, and problem remains.

4. Hi Joey,
   re enable the caching plugin and clear the cache from plugin admin option(you will see it on w3tc settings page) and please check.

   and one more question:-
   Were you able to upload any media earlier before the caching plugin enabled? can you check if there is something inside the wp-content/uploads/gallery directory
