Modify BP-Notifications widget to be multi-instance?

1. I really wish this plugin would have continued development but once again it seems to be abandoned. It works pretty well but does not allow you to use the widget more than once.

   I creating some custom sidebars and wanted to use this on a few of them to keep my members seeing their notifications as I don't use the buddypress bar.

   Anyone know a way to mod this one to make it multi-instance compatible?

   you won't believe how much I appreciate the new Ideas, suggestions for updating old plugins.

   I wrote the notification widget from scratch for some more functionality. Please get it from here

   https://github.com/sbrajesh/buddypress-notifications-widget/

   It will allow multi instance, you can control what is displayed in title, should the notification count display in title, should the notification count display in the widget area and whether to show or hide the list of notifications for a particular widget instance.

3. WOW you have no idea how much I appreciate your efforts!! you are amazing, I wish I could join your team! I am learning as fast as possible so hopefully I can make a meaningful contribution to the community.

   BTW - I just attempted to try this and got a 500 Internal server error. I did deactivate the old notifications widget but still got the 500 error.

   Can't wait to give this a shot!

   Are you using wordpress standard(not multisite), there was a bug in the plugin for wordpress standard.

   Fixed it in 1.0.1

   Please use it.

   If you want, you can keep the older bp-notificationwidget from wp.org, these two plugins have different code and won't interfere with each other.
