B, I know you are wrapped up in tweaking the Mag theme, child themes and everything else, but I had an idea for a plugin to tackle later on in 2011: a plugin organizer.
With people having anywhere between 10-50 plugins on their site, I thought it would be a fairly cool idea if you could group the plugins however you want: admin, SEO, commenting, etc. Makes looking at the plugin page easier and makes it much quicker to find what you might want on the page.
The other thing that would be cool would be if you could turn off all the plugins in each group with one click. Say you have a plugin conflict somewhere, something that is causing untold misery on your site. Instead of turning off every plugin and then loading them back, one by one, you could select groups and types of plugins and shut them down to see if they were the ones causing the problem. It would make it a lot faster in determining what plugin was the culprit and turning things back on, live.
I'm sure you have quite a few ideas of what to build this year, but I thought I'd throw another in to your idea pool and see if anything comes of it!
