"Poke" or "Wink" Plugin

1. For quite some time now, I'm looking for a Facebook style "Poke" functionality in Buddypress. I think, it's a nice way to casually contact people. But it looks like, no one has implemented or even requested that kind of functionality in BP yet.

   Would it be technically possible to implement such a feature in BP?

2. Hi Chris,

   I am sure this can be done with BP easily. I have not used this functionality of Facebook till now(hmm.. may be an embarrassing revelation :)). Going to try it today and will update when I will be able to do one such component :)

3. @sbrajesh any chance of developing this as one of your premium plugins? i just started looking so their might be one out there now but thought i'd write to you in case you knew anything on an existing or plans for you to develop? thanks!
