  1. Hi All,
    If you are seeing this post I am sure you now have seen the new theme for Buddydev.com.

    Please make sure to check the plugins section. I updated a few plugins details there, so you may have a look at the new organizations.

    For example, http://buddydev.com/plugins/limit-blogs-per-user/
    I will follow almost same structure for most of the plugins. It will need sometime and i will be updating the plugin section more again.

    Please do let me have your feedback, what you liked and what you did not.

    And yes, from tomorrow onwards we will have around 7 plugin release one plugin a day to celebrate the new site :)

    If you find any issue in logging etc, please drop me a mail at brajesh@cosmiccoders.com

    I am leaving for today, will be replying to questions in forums and comments on blog from tomorrrow onwards regularly.

    Thank you all for bearing with me all these time :)

  5. Hi All,
    Thanks. I just tried my hands on css and that's what this theme is. my Main goal was organizing the plugin/theme section better and upgrading to BuddyPress 1.2.6/wp ms 3.0.1 which is almost complete.

    @Ben,
    Thanks for the error report. Just updated the files again, it should go away now.

    Please do let me know if you see any further issue. Hope you all will like the new updates.

    Thanks
    Brajesh

  6. @Brajesh

    Check out your div class="sub" in IE. They all stretch to the far right of the screen. It might be because your inline styles are being overridden by site.css.

  9. Hi there Brajesh. I know you're busy with the site redesign. I had not noticed this before since I was on widescreen, but thought you might want to know that while I was checking out these forums using FF with 1024px screen resolution on my niece's baby PC, member avatars were positioned below forum posts. Check on Mac with 1280px resolution shows the same - avatar under forum post div. I checked why it was rendering that way.

    In source code of this page for example, I see:
    <div id="content" class="">

    Using Firebug in 1024px screen resoution:
    <div id="content" class="" style="width: 1457.6px;">

    Using Firebug in 1280px screen resolution
    <div id="content" class="" style="width: 781.7px;;">

    Using Firebug in 2560px screen resolution - displays avatar correctly on the right side
    <div id="content" class="" style="width: 1330.7px;">

  11. Brajesh,

    I really like your site design. I'm looking to download the bp-chat and the download link is still not active... Your line states it will be available yesterday.

    I know the site transfer and changes have taken up a bunch of your time and you have run into unexpected obstacles, but your latest estimations for a myriad of projects being out have been off (even those well before the site change), in many cases, by more than a month.

    I'm not trying to complain, but rather point out that you need to change your formula for your own time estimates as, people like me, try to schedule our times around various time frames given by others...like your plugin development.

    In particular, for those of us that have spent the money to join your site, we have now lost a "month of service" due to things beyond our control... Again, I know that this site-upgrade ultimately make things easier and better for all users. I would be happy to pay twice the amount of money per three month period, if you would keep your timelines and promised development on a more projected course and keep us more informed of progress. In that regard, I think you need to start relating your timelines in GMT as I believe you are based in India.

    Again, I'm not complaining, but rather making some general observations and making you aware of how "we" can be impacted by a lack of information. I truly do think you are an incredibly talented programmer and appreciate your wanting to bring us your expertise at an affordable price.

    Frankly, BuddyPress needs about 30 more of you. FWIW

  12. @Bowe,
    hi Bowe, I will work on that tomorrow and will mail you the details. That is worth a shot.

    @mercime,
    Thank you for the testing. I too observed it today, even in opera in widescreen too, it is causing issues.
    Will be fixing them up. I was working on the custom post title fix for hierarchical post types as wordpress does not print that correctly in te form of post_type|page_title|chaile_page_title and so.. Just updated it in plugin section. I am looking forward to fix all the issues. Thanks again for taking time and testing it in all the browsers :)

    @shawn,
    Thanks.

    @Joseph,
    Sorry for the delay. I just updated the chat link today, please check that. I updated it around mid day today.

    I understand your concern and the new plugin section is specially designed for keeping all of us informed of the progress and organize the data. As soon as the rodamap pages are up on the plugin section, It will allow me to focus more on the work. I know, I have not been very active recently, but since design is complete so I don't have anything else to do other than writing the codes. Let us hope for much better in future. I assure you in future the things will be on time. delay has always been part of my work here, and I have developed the new design to minimize it since rodamap will be something I will not want to miss anymore. I will try my best to increase the pace of the things soon.

    Thanks
    Brajesh
