I have not found such issue. Please test the avatar uploading using bp-default theme. Does it work. If yes, then I will be again looking at the conditions to reproduce it. User can’t change avatar. Pictures upload fine but the path for viewing is wrong. There is a / missing after src=” in the line of code that tries to retrieve the picture.
This may be something in my installation or the theme?
