BuddyPress Profanity Filter allows you to filter the censored word from your community and helps you to clean your site Activities, Private messages, and Notice messages. For configuring settings please visit Dashboard->Settings->BP Profanity Filter.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Enable Profanity Filter For:- <\/strong>This option allows admin to enable profanity filter for your site content like Activities, Private messages, and Notice messages.<\/p>\n

Words to remove:- <\/strong>Allows you to add any number of profanity words list and separated by a comma example Profanity, Shit, etc.<\/p>\n

\"Configure<\/a><\/p>\n

Case matching Type:- <\/strong>This option allows you to select case-sensitive or insensitive options matching for the profanity words.<\/p>\n

\"Configure<\/a><\/p>\n

Strict Filtering:-\u00a0<\/strong>If you enable this option allows you too strict filtering like\u00a0 if strict filtering is ON, even part of words are matched e.g “crap” matches Crappy deal”. If OFF it will only match full words<\/p>\n

Filter Character:- <\/strong>This option allows admin to use a different replacement character for profanity words<\/p>\n

Word Rendering:- <\/strong>It allows you to control how the matched profanity words will be replaced.<\/p>\n

Notifications:-\u00a0<\/strong>This panel includes two options for notification<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Notify Admin:-<\/strong>If you want to notify the admin about profanity content then enable this option.<\/li>\n
  2. Notification Email:-<\/strong> Add admin email address so that he\/she will notify about profanity content.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
