With BuddyPress Auto Friendship pro version 1.1.0+, you can create user relationships with group members on joining, leaving and removing from the group actions.

On Group Join Action: The site admins can configure what type of relationship will be created with the joining user and the group members on the join. There are three types of relationships Add As Friends, Add as Followers and Add as Followings. The following are the possible options:

1. All group members i.e. Group admins, Moderators and Members will be added as friends, followers or followings. The site admin can select all types of relationships at once with the joining user.
2. All group members excluding group admins and moderators will be added as friends, followers or followings. The site admin can select all types of relationships at once with the joining user.
3. Only group moderators will be added as friends, followers or followings. The site admin can select all types of relationships at once with the joining user.
4. Only group admins will be added as friends, followers or followings. The site admin can select all types of relationships at once with the joining user.

On Group Leave Action: The site admins can configure what type of relationship will be removed with the leaving user and the group members on the leave. There are three types of relationships Remove As Friends, Remove as Followers and Remove as Followings. The following are the possible options:

1. All group members i.e. Group admins, Moderators and Members will be removed as friends, followers or followings. The site admin can select all types of relationships at once with the leaving user.
2. All group members excluding group admins and moderators will be removed as friends, followers or followings. The site admin can select all types of relationships at once with the leaving user.
3. Only group moderators will be removed as friends, followers or followings. The site admin can select all types of relationships at once with the leaving user.
4. Only group admins will be removed as friends, followers or followings. The site admin can select all types of relationships at once with the leaving user.

Note:  On Group Removal Action will be the same as on leave action except this will trigger on member’s removal from the group by Group admin.
