My WordPress Multiste is running two different sites for different languages
English site at primary domain and German site as subdomain.
I was suggested to use Ajax registration plugin and create a dedicated registration page for German site. Now this is what I want to achieve. For german page the register page shows a lot of missing fields of the form, still I would like to have it in german. How can I achieve this now?Hi,
Welcome to BuddyDev.Can you please provide more details about your install.
1. Is BuddyPress Network active?
2. Is multi blog mode enabled?
3. Are the users on these two sites different?
4. Do you want different profile fields for these two sites or have the same? How are you creating a mullingual site?(Using a sub domain for different language or using any plugin)
Is there anything else that you want to share?
Please let me know and I will assist.
Thank you
BrajeshHi Brajesh,
thanks for your quick reply.
Its as follows:1. Is BuddyPress Network active?
Yes, it is network active.2. Is multi blog mode enabled?
Not sure where to enable that function.
3. Are the users on these two sites different?
Yes they are. For english site they are english speaking, for german site they are german speakers. Thats why I need a registration form in german, but now its only in english.
4. Do you want different profile fields for these two sites or have the same?
They can be the same fields.
How are you creating a mullingual site?(Using a sub domain for different language or using any plugin)
For english site I have https://www.wushantcm.com/
For german site I have
https://de.wushantcm.com/
Let me know if you need more info, thanks so much.

Hi Tim,
Thank you.BuddyPress Ajax registration will not be able to help you much. Let me explain a few things:-
1. BuddyPress does not allow you to have separate user base for separate sites. In other words, all the users are global.
2. In your case, what I see as the best fit is using BuddyPress Multi Network. That will allow you to have separate userbase as well as separate activity/groups etc for the sites.
I will suggest using this plugin
https://github.com/sbrajesh/buddypress-multi-networkand reading this doc(Since you have an existing sub site).
Hope that helps.
1. Yes, we do offer 100% refund and I will be issuing it shortly.
2. You can use the plugin to enhance the experience(If you want) but it is not needed for the task.
3. If you use Multi Network plugin, It creates different tables for each of the sub site. So, you can completely separated social network on each of your sub sites. Since you will be creating the fields/field groups per site, It allows you to have site specific registration form.Hope that helps.
Have issued the refund now. Please check.
Regards
Brajesh
