    Hi Brajesh,

Unfortunately found out by hazard that your premium plugin ‘BuddyPress User Testimonials’ has a bad influence on the WordPress commenting system. On my site I use the plugin ‘wpDiscuz’ https://de.wordpress.org/plugins/wpdiscuz/

There the commenting has gone on frontend, not on backend. On backend got the information of two comments but with a number of 10 in total. But could see only 2 comments, see screenshot

    a) https://www.screencast.com/t/GpvXVrinqJ

I went into my database and wanted to see if there are more comments than 2. Saw a third comment with content of the testimonial I made to another user. So I deactivated your plugin and got the following screenshot

    b) https://www.screencast.com/t/alNtOmIe

With your plugin activated my frontpage looked like this

    c) https://www.screencast.com/t/UzQ2HAH0

After deactivating your plugin, my frontpage looks like this

    d) https://www.screencast.com/t/HxKViZvRi

Please test your premium plugins better. It destroys the confidence of my customers. I want to go out with advertising in a month and as you know I found a lot of issues of your plugins.

    Thanks for understanding!

    Kindest regards,
    Thorsten

    Hi Thorsten,
    My apologies for the inconvenience.

Can you please disable the WpDiscuz and tell me if there is still the same issue? The plugin is tested with the normal WordPress, BuddyPress.

I am not sure if there is something that has changed in WordPress/BuddyPress that can cause it. I am going to test but It will be nice if you can take a quick look and let me know.

We do test our plugins thoroughly and most of your issues has been theme conflict earlier. There are thousands of themes and plugins and we can not guarantee that it will work with all of them.

If our members report an issue or a conflict, we do our best to resolve them.

    I hope you understand that.

    Regards
    Brajesh

    Hi Thorsten,
I did test and I do not see any issue with comments on WordPress, BuddyPress and BP testimonials.

The testimonial uses custom comment type for storing the reviews( and custom comment type is used by many other plugins, e.g woocommerce, edd, the only difference is our comment is public).

On what basis have you assumed that our code quality is bad or anything? Unlike what you have have worked with or assumed, I hold full time professional degree(Diploma and graduation) in Computer Science and Engineering and I am a professional programmer(for last 10 years).

We have a 100% money back guarantee and we will gladly offer a full refund if you need. I have been patient and trying to resolve all the issues/conflicts with your theme, but it is too much.

    So thank you.
Please let me know and I will proceed as needed.

    Best Regards
    Brajesh

Also, In the current case, It is an issue with the way wpdiscuz works and not the testimonials plugin.

    Hi Brajesh!

Did what you suggested – but same as before. See my sreenshots please. I wrote a completly new testimonial for a user…

    a) https://www.screencast.com/t/z5fCmxi4cJB5

    …deactivated wpDiscuz see screenshot

    b) https://www.screencast.com/t/VbR11jSG

And here the result of comments in backend after deactivating wpDiscuz and using your testimonial plugin

    c) https://www.screencast.com/t/KSQ024FRfnM

It is exactly the same procedure I made before. For you I deleted all page caches, all js and css optimizing caches and purched the cdn too. Nothing changed.

Deactivated testimonial plugin and everything works now – sorry to say this.

    Kindest regards,
    Thorsten

    Thank you.

Please allow me 2 hours to setup a custom install for you.

I do understand there is an issue and I will be here to help. But, I will also like to show that it is not caused by the testimonial alone. There is a conflict.

    Thank you

    Hi Brajesh,

You have all the time you need. Check it with calm. The testimonial plugin is no need for me. As a premium user of your plugins thought to myself it’s a nice gimmick. But I really don’t need it. Will concentrate on more useful plugins. Thank you.

    Kindest regards,
    Thorsten

    Hi Thorsten,
    Thank you.

Since you have no need for the testimonial plugin, I am delaying the setup(I will be setting up tonight and linking you).

Also, I do plan to ask one of our developers to check for the conflict with the wpdiscuz.

    I will keep you updated.

    Thank you
    Brajesh

    Hi Brajesh,

Sounds good. I’m still interested in a good collaboration with you but sometimes it’s hard to find out something isn’t right as it should.

    Kindest Regards,
    Thorsten

    Thank you Thorsten.
I am also in favour of constructive collaboration.

I do understand your frustration. The problem is the WordPress eco system is huge and when you use plugins/themes from multiple shops, there are bound to be issues eventually. Our goal is to help you in that case.

PS: Posting the link to site/password in the private message below.

    Thank you
    Brajesh
