[Resolved] Group activity stream – double uploads

    In the group home I click on the update area and that displays the photo upload button, so I click on that and upload an image. I then enter a comment for the photo and hit the update button.

    The result is I get two images posted, one with and one without the comment, I think this is also incorrect behaviour.

    Either the upload posts one image without comment and then posts a separate comment, or it posts the image with the comment.

    That will be very strange as an image can not be posted without comment. Looking at it right now.

    Oops,
    It is doing it because under Setting->BuddyPress section the automatic publish to activity is selected. It is still a bug as activity uploads should never do that. I seem to have changed a filter name causing this .

    A simple fix for now is visit MediaPress->Settings->BuddyPress and uncheck the automatic publish settings.

    Fixed it. Will be pushing a release in couple of hours.
