[Resolved] BuddyPress Xprofile Member Type Field not showing on registration page

    Created 2 Member Types with BuddyPress Member Type Generator. Both are active.

    Created new Profile Field Single Member Type. Both Member Types show in drop down. Located in Profile Primary under Name.

    This field does not show on registration page.

    Hi,
    Welcome to BuddyDev forums.

    Please visit Users->Profile Fields and edit the Member type field.

    On the edit field, you will see Member Types meta box on the right. Please make sure you have selected all the boxes there.

    The problem you are facing happens when a site has member types. BuddyPress lets users associated field visibility with member types and that causes this issue.

    Please try and let me know if that works or not?

    That was a crazy fast reply. Wow!

    “Users with no member type” was not checked. This solved the problem. Not sure what “Users with no member type” means.

    Users with no member type- It means the group of users who don’t have any member type associated. BuddyPress uses it for all the Non Logged In user as well as Logged In users who don’t have any member type.
