Hi there,
I need some help,
I have 4 membership levels, how can I add different publishing privilegesex.
1. Free membership level I don’t want to add new post – how to set
2. Student membership level I want to add new post etcI also want to ask if there is an opportunity for uploading images so they can not view media gallery (also upload a image)
Thanks
Hi Dime,
For the 1,2 can you please tell me which plugin are you using for membership? For the image part, can you please provide a little more details.
Thank you
BrajeshHi Dime ,
I haven’t tested it but it should not allow subscribers to delete photos from other users. An editor or administrator can delete the photos though. Please do let me know if that is not the case.
I will also look into the code, I have posted it somewhere to list the display to author’s own post and will link to you.
Thank you

I need to know what a membership level is in order to assist you with restriction.

Brajesh1. I’m using https://www.paidmembershipspro.com/ for membership, it creates also user roles for each membership automaticlly.
I set one “free membership”, which i don’t want to have any kind of access on Buddy Blog features.
I also set additional 6 membership types: (Student Monthly, Student Yearly, Professional Monthly, Professional Yearly, Premier Monthly, Premier Yearly) which i want to give them access to buddy blog features.
Now with my default settings, only with the admin user i can add posts, with other users i get: https://i.imgur.com/Sx17G3m.jpg I think is a bug or i am missing something.
Hi Dime,
BuddyBlog allows you to define user capabilities who can create/edit/delete post. These settings are available at the bototm of the BuddyBlog settings
For example, you can use this
Which capability is required for creating post?to limit post creation.
You can use any capability from the following table.
https://codex.wordpress.org/Roles_and_Capabilities#Capability_vs._Role_TableFor example, if you specify edit_other_posts only editor, admin and super admins will be able to create post.
Hope that helps.

BrajeshThank you very much for your support.
I also want to ask you how I can change the icon of the blog that appears in account home page.
