A bit embarrassing but I am having the hardest time installing the plugin into WordPress. If anyone has any suggestions please please please let me know!

Welcome to BuddyDev forums.Please follow the instructions from here
Once you have downloaded the zip file from your account, you can visit Dashboard->Plugins->Add New and click on “Upload file” to upload the plugin.
Please let me know if that works for you or not?
