Buddypress activity comment notifier is not showing any notifications

    Buddypress activity comment notifier is not showing any notifications while I have some test users commenting and even mentioning me in the comments of a post I wrote…

    What is the reason for this? I don’t see any errors at all and I am sure I have done everything correctly. The widget just constantly says: Notifications(0)
    You don’t have any new notification.

    I already enabled Buddypress and so on. What could be the reason for this failure?

    PS: my only goal is to create a Facebook like bubble for comments to notify users there is a new comment/reply on their post. Via the front-end, so without going to wp-admin.

    Is this even possible?

    Hi Siyah,
    Thank you for the question.

    1. You can use BuddyPress Live notification plugin to show facebook style live notification.
    2. The BuddyPress activity comment notifier will show notification(add notifications) if a user needs to be notified(depending on the current comment context.

    You can use the above two together if you need to.
