[Resolved] pre-purchase questions for a plugin

    hello I’m interested in buying the moderation plugin but before I have some questions

    – one user can block another user
    – can a user report profiles
    – users can report groups, publications and comments

    1. No. It does not allow blocking.
    2. Yes.

    3. Yes. Blog comments moderation is not available currently. Blog post, activity post, activity comment is available. Blog comment moderation will be available in next 1-2 weeks.

    You can also configure if you want the reported item to be invisible to the reporter.

    That is unfortunate because it is fundamental and very important in a social network that there is the option for the user to block another user for any reason or reason, I am interested in buying this plugin but this option is the most important

    Hi Brian,
    I am sorry. We will not be able to add user to user blocking functionality(like providing a block button) in this plugin as moderation/reporting and blocking are different things.

    If you are looking for blocking when a user reports other user and automating the process of blocking from message, unfriending etc then it is coming in future version.

    then it is useless this complement does not work for a social network, they are working on absurd functions and not on the most important ones like blocking between users.thanks

    I am sorry but I disagree with you. I hope you understand the difference between moderation and blocking.

    Moderation/report abuse is not a tool for blocking user to user. It is for reporting. As a consequence of reporting if sideadmins want to block interaction between user, that is coming in future.
    The features may be useless but we have 100+ site owners happily using this currently.

    It all depends on your need. Since it does not match your need that does not make it useless or absurd.

    Btw, If you are looking for blocking users, There is a plugin from someone else called BuddyBlock.

    That should help you.

    I understand ok I apologize for using that word but I need a plugin so users can block other users and I have not found any plugin
