    hi

    when i ticked yes for the ‘Allow members to send me friend request? – I was unable to send requests for friendship to others. not the other way around

    Hi Kira,
    Welcome to BuddyDev.

    The plugin should not stop you for sending request to others.

    I am still rechecking it and will be writing back in an hour.

    Is there any chance you are using some other restrictions for friendship?

    Hi Kira,
    I havetested it now and I can confirm that it is not caused by this plugin.

    Here is what I tested

    1. I set the “Allow members to send me friend request?” to No
    2. Then I visited members directory and sent request to 2 people and it all went well.

    Please check.

    PS:- Is there any chance you have set the default for this setting to “No” in the admin settings?

    Hi

    Please can you investigate further

    I have none of the setting inlisted and all of a sudden by member can only see herself in the members list.
    None of my 20 other members have the options to hide themselves either

    If we had a private forum I could show you screenshots and or logins to sign in and check.

    I cleared my cache and now its okay
    Ill let you know if it happens again.
    Its not ideal
