Customizer suddenly only showing Widgets!?

    Hi

    I have upgraded to Community Builder Pro and I’m (of course) using the corresponding Community Builder Pro Child theme. I’m in the process of adjusting all old and new aspects in the customizer and until now it’s going really fine!

    But suddenly – out off the blue – the custumizer only shows the Widget menu settings with no possibility to change anything! If I shift to the Community Builder Pro theme or the standard WP theme the customizer is back again.

    Have anyone heard about this and more important: how to solve it. I can’t continue my work before this is solved I’m afraid 🙁

    I’ve only upgraded to my test site on my Local setup on my Mac, so I can’t share a login to anyone I’m afraid.

    Hi Torben,
    I am sorry for the inconvenience.

    It seems the issue relates to invalid state of customizer.

    Please click on the reset button of customizer to reset it to the initial state. That should fix it but you will loose any customization.

    Please let me know if it works or not?

    Hmm, I don’t ahve the upportunity to reset I’m afraid. The reset button in the customizer is missing as you can see in this screenshot:

    Hi Torben,
    Thank you for the screenshot.

    I can see the issue now.

    Your child theme is broken because it can not find the parent theme.

    Please open childtheme/style.css and make sure that the line

    
Template: community-builder-pro

    is there and not

    
Template: community-builder

    That will fix it.
