Currency field in Custom xProfile Fields?

    Have you considered adding a “currency” field type in the xprofile field plugin?

    Thank you for the suggestion.

    I haven’t considered it earlier but it seems like a good idea.

    so, how do you imagine it to work?

    In the backend we give option to use a currency symbol? and on the front end we prepend that symbol to the value?

    Yes. That would work.
    I also would want to make sure the comma is in the displayed number:

    $14,123
    $153,221
    $1,500,402

    You might need to contend with decimals at some point, but I wouldn’t need it.

    Also…while you’re adding a field type 🙂

    …it would be great to have a percent type field.
    The user would put in a value and the system would show as percent.
