I need to know how hard it would be to change a url like this: buddypress/bp-templates/bp-nouveau to this : community/template/nouveau ?

    Hi David,
    It is super easy.

Just create a folder and name it as “community” in your theme or child theme.

Now copy everything from bp-nouveau and put that in the newly created directory. Thta’s it.

BuddyPress supports renaming the template pack to “buddypress” or “community” folder in your theme.

And if needed, there are filters to even change that to anything.

    Regards
    Brajesh

I did that but the css file does not seem to be using the new name. I am not good with code that is why I am asking I did make a new folder in my child theme and rename it to community.

    Hi David,
This configuration is working absolutely fine for me. Try clearing your cache if is is enabled.

Otherwise, I will suggest reverting your buddypress-functions.php(since you changed it in another topic).

PS:- I am assuming the screenshot was for the contents of your “community” directory.

    Regards
    Brajesh

Please copy the contents from “community/buddypress” and move to “community/” and they will work.
For example, activity goes to community/activity.
