BP Profile Completion – Checkboxes field types not working

    Hi, I am using:

    Buddyx theme
    Buddypress profile completion plugin
    Conditional Profile Fields for BuddyPress plugin

    Problem: I noticed “checkboxes” and “multi select box” field type are not registring the selections and keep giving the warning message “Please fill all required profile fields.”

    If I chave the field type to text, dropdown or radio, Buddypress profile completion plugin registers the submission and the warning goes away.

    do you think this is a theme issue or plugin issue?

    Please advise.

    Welcome to BuddyDev.

    is there any chance that BuddyX theme modifies the checkbox/radio markup? Are the styled differently than the native browser appearances(just trying to guess if the theme is modifying the markup or not).

    Hi Brajesh,

    When I click inspect element in chrome, input type shows as checkbox so I believe they are okay, I also turned off cache.

    Hi,

    By disabling “Conditional Profile Fields for BuddyPress plugin” I was able to completely submit the data.

    any suggestions to resolve this issue?

    Hi Jatt,
    Is there any chance that you have used condition on a required field? If yes, Please disable that.

    It seems the Conditional Field is removing one of the required field leading to this.
