Compatibility, member lock keys and functions with BuddyBoss theme/PRO

    Hello.

    Before buying Buddypress Block Users plugin, I wanted to know if the Block Users plugin was compatible with the BuddyBoss format (which already has its own blocking system but doesn’t work as expected).

    1) If it is compatible, how are the user lock keys displayed on the frontend? Are native Buddyboss ones used or will there be others?

    2) To enable this plugin of yours, do I need to disable something in Buddyboss?

    Thank you for the question.

    1. What is lock keys? Are you referring to the button?
    2. Yes, probably the block button.

    At the moment, we don’t have idea about its compatibility as BuddyBoss implemented their own and we dropped supporting them. Our team will check and get back to you with compatibility details in next 2 days.

    Yes, I wrote it wrong, I mean, are the buttons for the block independent or are they interconnected with the current ones in Buddyboss?

    Hi Claudio,
    A per our developer’s feedback, the plugin is not compatible with BuddyBoss.

    The problem they found was related to providing feedback to the blocked user. The plugin does not provide any feedback to BuddyBoss user if they are blocked and try to request friendship.
    Also, the stop following feature is not working for BuddyBoss.

    Regardless of these issues that I could even overlook, for those like me who have Buddyboss theme and PRO plugin, will your block function still perform its function? What if I buy your plugin only the block user function is enabled, will it work by blocking everything? Are the lock buttons the same as Buddyboss or are there others?
