So I have a sports site. Example Softball. I use the search term to categorize softball players…members/?members_search=softball
My issue is if I have a 2 sport player in football and his “message to the coach” in which we populate in the profile fields says “I am a 2 sport player, football and softball”
His profile shows up in football and softball. He wasn’t to be recruited in football not show up in softball(just because he/she mentioned it in the Message to the Coach.
Even if he starts the message with hello Coaches, then he shows up in the Coaches area.
Is there a way to correct this?
I would oh so appreciate anyone that could help me with this.

Hi Chris,
Welcome to BuddyDev support forums.BuddyPress does not allow excluding specific fields form search. We can either exclude all profile fields from search or none.
If you want to remove all fields from search, Please let me know. I can assist with the code.
Another alternative will be to use BP Profile Search plugin which allows you to specify the fields in the search form.
