 The most wanted – or missing feature for BP-based collaboration is a simple “Task Manager” or To-do list. A few plugins are around…

 …but again: EDD isn’t needed for most communities, they don’t sell. Anyway, this add-on leads me to the following idea.*- First of all: for collaboration we need a simple solution what should be based on components we already have, BP and bbPress. Topics can also be To-dos. And to start with, only three things are missing in bbPress: - – a field to assign a topic (a “to-do”) to a user 
 – a deadline (date field)
 – a status (not finished, on hold, finished – something like that)- The third point could be based on a plugin imath already did…

- “Last Updated: 5 years ago” – no way. - buddydev code is needed… what I wrote: something that’s up-to-date, not to complicated AND well supported.

 …but that way the “to-dos” are no longer inside a wp/bp installation (not private) – and not integrated into users & groups what’s definitely not user/team/workflow friendly.
 I will also ping jjj to see what his thoughts are…

 I will be taking over it in next 2 week. Actually, It can be quiet useful for our own forum and I wanted to add some features here. So I think your topic is a good start for that.- Let us keep it open and I will keep you updated. 
- Sounds good! Thanks Brajesh - It’s really the most wanted feature… All members in a team have to do some tasks while collaborate and it’s important to know who, when etc. - PS: One more thought: there should be a new sub-tab in /members/username/forums/ with the “to-dos” I’m assigned to…

 It’s interesting to see what Google integrated in their G Suite with Action Items…- https://www.blog.google/products/g-suite/five-new-ways-reach-your-goals-faster-g-suite/ - But would say it’s still a good idea to do something re “to-dos” based on bbPress.
