[Resolved] Auto Friendship Pro: Group Connections Adding Organizer Bug

    Hello,

    In the Auto Friendship Pro plugin, I have setting ticked, Connect with ” Only Group Members( excluding admins, moderators ).” However, when adding new group members, they are being connected with the group organizer along with the members.

    How can I troubleshoot? Thanks!

    Thank you for using the plugin.

    Are you using it with BuddyPress or BuddyBoss? Are you adding members from backend? Can you please provide me the steps to reproduce it. I can quickly check and fix if needed.

    Hi Brajesh,

    Certainly. First, I set up Auto Friendship Pro settings, ticking connect with “Only Group Members (excluding admin, moderators)” and connection types “Add as Friend.” Then, I went in and created a hidden group (haven’t tested on public or private) and added some members. The members are all connected with each other, but are also connected with the organizer.

    We are using BuddyBoss. If you need access, let me know and I can get you a login.

    Hello Justin,

    Thank you for reporting the issue. Please upgrade to the latest version i.e. ‘1.2.3’ and give it a try.
    Please let me know if it is fixed or not.

    The bug does appear to be fixed and organizers not being included if unchecked.
