I have just installed and activated BuddyPress Auto Join Groups 1.2.6 on a current BuddyBoss installation.
The plugin activates successfully and the links “Settings” and “Auto Join Lists” appear on the Plugins page. However, when I try to open “Auto Join Lists”, WordPress throws a critical error.
My environment:
– WordPress 7.1
– BuddyBoss Platform
– BuddyBoss Child Theme 1.0.0
– BuddyPress Auto Join Groups 1.2.6
– PHP 8.4.16
The WordPress error report shows the following fatal error:
Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function BuddyPress_Auto_Join_Groups\Core\bp_core_admin_groups_tabs() in /wp-content/plugins/buddypress-auto-join-groups/src/core/class-post-type-helper.php:401

The stack trace indicates that the error occurs in:
BuddyPress_Auto_Join_Groups\Core\Post_Type_Helper->bb_show_groups_tabs()

So it seems that the BuddyBoss-specific integration is trying to call bp_core_admin_groups_tabs(), which is not available in my current BuddyBoss installation.
Could you please check whether version 1.2.6 is compatible with the current BuddyBoss Platform and provide a fix or workaround?
I purchased the plugin specifically because of its advertised BuddyBoss compatibility and need the Auto Join Lists/Bulk Sync functionality to add existing members to groups created later.
