[Resolved] Facebook Like User Activity Stream for BuddyPress – settings??

    Hi guys, we’ve just purchased “Facebook Like User Activity Stream for BuddyPress”. I cannot find settings anywhere? Can still view all updates, profiles etc. from non-friends.

    Hi Lisa,
    Welcome to BuddyDev.

    This plugin doe not have any settings.

    After activating the plugin if you visit your own profile, what do you see there? It should list all activities from your groups, your friends there.

    Can you please confirm if that is not happening?

    Thank you for the quick reply!

    So I’m happy with my own profile/feed. We purchased the plugin for this specific feature:
    “And yes, It limits the view to logged in user for their own network, just like the other social networks do”.

    However, ALL users see ALL the updates etc.

    We need privacy to friends-only by default, and was under the impression this is what this plugin does.

    Hi Lisa,
    I am sorry about the confusion. I believe our description is confusing there. It does not provide privacy.

    It restricts the view of “My Stream” tab to the logged in user’s own.

    I am sorry for the confusion. Please send me a mail with the username of your client or the order id or transaction id and I will issue a refund. will also be updating the plugin description and adding the text that it does not provide privacy related unctions.

    For privacy, I will suggest looking at BuddyPress privacy plugin.
