Is it possible to add “what’s new” composer above activity stream >> https://cl.ly/551f9de36cad
Sorry to bother you again Brajesh 🙂
Regards, AJ
Hi AJ,
That should have been the default behaviour. Is there any chance you are overriding buddypress/activity/index.php or buddypress/activity/activity/post-form.php in your theme?Regards
BrajeshEven after deleting my custom CSS…
Hi AJ,
I had a look at the site now.an you please tell me why are you using shortcode to create that page? BuddyPress gives you activity directory out of the box and you can simply use that.

BrajeshWhy not? That’s what the shortcodes are for right?
To answer your question: it would be weird for people who login to be directed straight to my profile. Also I don’t need them to see all activities, it matters that they see what I post as that will be updates on the site.Looking more carefully now, the “what’s new” only shows on “your stream”. So there must be a line of PHP or HTML that I can work with to make it pop up.
Hi AJ,
I am sorry, I was not sure that you wanted to create custom stream. I thought you were looking for the main sitewide stream.Try adding allow_posting=1 to the shortcode and then let me know.
Regards
Brajesh
