    Wondered if it also is possible to attache images and documents with the ”allow_posting” shortcode tag. Since this is also possible within buddypress and buddyboss

    Hi Ab,
    Welcome to BuddyDev support forums.

    The shortcode supports basci publishing of activity. it seems you are using BuddyBoss platform and theme.

    I am sorry, we are unable to do much to assist you with it. We simply include the post form from the current theme and let the theme/platform(or BuddyPress) plugin handle the rest. If you report this to BuddyBoss, They can add support for uploads on any page and it will work fine.
