BP/BB Anonymous posting by role, profile type, or achievement?

    Hi- the plugin is great!

    Ideally we’d like to enable it only for a filtered set of users… for instance those with a certain WP Role or BB Profile Type…

    Can you suggest any way to do this?

    Hello Michael,

    Thank you for posting. FYI, BuddyPress Anonymous Activity is not fully compatible with BuddyBoss. But, If you are looking to integrate this functionality with BuddyPress. I can share the code to achieve this.

    I was actually able to accomplish this pretty quickly with a php snippet to load user-roles to the activity page and then display the option via CSS based on that role.

    If you have other suggestions, they’d be welcome.

    Separately, however, I see that “Notifications” of those activity posts are not “anonymized” so that even though the activity posts will be labeled everyone still get’s a notice that “Michael posted ‘xyz’ to your Activity Feed”

    Any thoughts on how to address that?
