How can I allow the users to select only some of the categories when they write their post? By doing that, I can show user blogs one one page and my own blog on another page. In other words, users and I can choose different categories. Thanks!

    Hi,
Please search for BuddyBlog on this forum and you may find a similar topic with code.

The plugin doe snot support this behaviour out of the box(The BuddyBlog Pro releasing next week does). Also, another way to separate admin’s post from other members could be by using a different post type which the plugin support.

    Regards

Thanks. If I upgrade to BuddyBlog Pro later, will the post contents stay?

    Hi,
    Thank you for the question.

There will be no data loss and the post contents will stay.

Thanks. I was unable to find the codes you mentioned. There were a couple of related posts but I am not sure if they are the ones you referred to. Could you please send me a list to that response (how to limit author categories)?

    Hi,

    Hope you are doing well.

Just letting you know that BuddyBlog Pro is available now.
You may want to take a look at it to see if it suits your need or not?
