BuddyBlog – Display Published Blogs in normal BuddyBoss Theme

Is there a way to make the blogs NOT post in the tab of the profile user?

I’d love the display of the blogs to be in the normal BuddyBoss theme for visitors to read. If they want to connect with the author they can click the author name and it will take them to the profile. Having it inside the profile makes for an odd reading experience.

    Thanks!

    Hi Michel,
    Welcome to BuddyDev support forums.

Thank you for using the plugin.

Please visit Dashboard->BuddyBlog->Settings-> “Post” and scroll to the bottom for the “Misc Settings” section.

Please ensure that “Make single post viewable on profile?” is set to “No” and save the settings.

Please let me know if that solves your issue or not?

    Regards
    Brajesh

Appreciate the follow up. Unfortunately, I confirmed that is set to “no” and the blogs still redirect to the individual profile.

    Any thoughts?

    Hi Michel,
    Thank you for the reply.

can you please share more details about your post type. Are you using ‘post’ post type or a different one. is that post type public or private?

    Thank you
    Brajesh

Hello! Yes, we are using “Post” post type and it is public. When I create a post it is published and visible to the public. It’s being displayed only in the BuddyBoss users profile though. So when I go to realinsiders.co/blog and click the blog it opens in their user profile tab instead of in the normal blog format for buddyboss.

    Hi Michael,
I am sorry for not being available last week.
Your issue is related to configuration only. It can be fixed as specified in my previous post.

If feasible, Please share temporary credentials for accessing the settings and I can update the settings for you.

    Thank you
    Brajesh
