Hi Brajesh,
I installed BuddyBlog and BP Simple Front End Post in a fresh WP 5.4.1 with BuddyBoss Platform 1.3.5 to test the plugin capabilities.
I setup BuddyBlog to allow members to edit their post, everything works fine until now.
My issue is when the user will edit their post, it’s redirect to standard WP edit post page instead of keep in the BuddyBoss tab with fields enable to edit.
I don’t know if it’s the standard behavior of this plugin but for me I thing would be better to keep the member on BuddyPress/BuddyBoss profile tab.
Another 2 suggestions are:
1 – allow members to create categories and tags when create posts
2 – allow members to create posts only for BuddyPress groups instead of public or privateThanks for your time and congrats for another great plugin.
Regards
JorgeHi Jorge,
Thank you for using the plugin. You can setup who can edit in the backend by changing the cap in plugin settings. By default it allows author/editor/admins to edit in the dashboard.
Thank you for the suggestion.
1. We are considering.
2. There is no immediate plan for allowing BuddyBlog to work with groups. You might want to try Blog categories for groups instead.Regards
BrajeshThanks Brajesh, didn´t realize that. It´s working fine.
You are welcome. I am glad it worked.
Regards
Brajesh
