Tagged: buddyblog hide tags 'wp fusion'
I’ve purchased BuddyBlog Pro and integrated it into my BuddyBoss site and it’s working great!
I only want the blog feature available to my site members, so I’m using the WordPress role checkboxes to control visibility. Also working great.
I’m using a WP Fusion integration with my clients CRM (Keap) to use tags in the CRM to indicate when memberships have been purchased and control access to various parts of the site. WP Fusion adds a meta box to most all types of content in WordPress (pages, posts, etc.) as well as BuddyBoss (groups, forums, etc.) that you can set to restrict access to content on your site unless the user has the corresponding tag set in their CRM record.
I’d like to use this same technique to deny access to BuddyBlog (and other custom tabs set up using Tabs Creator Pro) but it doesn’t appear that your plug-ins support showing the WP Fusion meta box where you can set tag dependencies. Do you have any plans to add support for WP Fusion access control?
WP Fusion also has some meta tags you can use to wrap content you want to control access to, so that might be an option for adding access control to the tabs created by BuddyBlog and Tabs Creator Pro. Adding these tags might require me to have to customize my plug-in source code.
Are there any webhooks in that can be used to control tab visibility?
Let me know if you can recommend a solution for hiding BuddyBlog or Tabs Creator Pro tabs based on a users tag settings accessed by WP Fusion.
Thanks!
Hi Steve,
Thank you for using BuddyBlog Pro.I am sorry, we don’t have any plan for integrating WP Fusion. If you can point me to ther documentation for hiding BuddyBoss tabs, We would be glad to add it to the profile tabs creator.
Both of our plugins support roles based access, they don’t have support for tags.Regards
Brajesh
