    Hi there… just wondering if anyone can advise…

    I have a Buddypress site which has some public info but also contains private groups. Are there any recommended steps I need to take to ensure Google doesn’t pick up on anything posted in private groups or will that happen automatically?

    I can’t “lock” the whole site because some info is intended for public view.

    Any advice appreciated.

    Hi Jake,
    Welcome to BuddyDev.

    The content from private groups/forums are not accessible and indexable by google.
    So, you do not need to do anything about it.
