Hi, I’ve just bought the BuddyPress Auto Activate Auto Login and it kinda works – resulting in auto activating account. I can browse all the groups and forums but it doesn’t allow me to go to my profile nor edit it as it keeps saying I need to login or register in order to see this page.
Can anyone help me solving this out?
Hi Martin,
Thank you for purchasing from us.Do you get logged in after the account activation?
Also, do you have any of the following two features enabled by other plugin/cose/server:-
1. User account moderation of new registration(like BuddyPress Registration Options plugin)
2. Any caching plugin enabled? Please share the details and I will assist.
Regards
BrajeshHi Brajesh! Thanks for such a quick response – appreciate it!
“Do you get logged in after the account activation?”
Yes and no – the users are automatically logged in and can browse all the social network groups and forums except their profiles. After registrations they are moved to activity stream.
Also, do you have any of the following two features enabled by other plugin/cose/server:-
1. User account moderation of new registration(like BuddyPress Registration Options plugin)
I use BuddyBoss default registration form
2. Any caching plugin enabled?
Yes, I’ve got a LiteSpeed Cache plugin enabled.
Hi Martin,
Thank you.
It seems the cache may be a reason. I am still not completely sure. Can you please temporarily disable the caching plugin and try registering a new account in incongnot mode(or a different browser to avoid cache) and see if they work. If it does, we can look into the cache plugin settings.
Please let me know what you find.
Regards
BrajeshBrajesh,
sorry for confusion. Me and my colleague were trying to narrow down the issue and we found that Woocommerce Memberships is causing the conflict so it was disabled. The plugin is back on now and here’s how to recreate the problem:
1. create a new account (or try to login using the account you previously created)
2. try to access the user profileSince I do need the memberships plugin I hope you will be able to find a fix for this conflict.
Best,
Martin
