Hello Brajesh,
Can you add a feature to confirm action when a user is leaving the buddypress registration page in three scenarios.
1. when user tries to refresh registration page trigger confirm action
2. When user tries to click on a menu navigation trigger confirm action
3. When user tries to close browser trigger confirm actionconfirm action message = Are you sure you want to cancel registration
This feature will help improve and retain user sign ups
Thanks
Hi Tosin,
Thank you for the suggestions.I can provide you the javascript code that does following:-
1. If a user has made any change to the registration form and then they try to navigate away or reload page, It should confirm. Does that sound good? I don’t think showing in any other cases makes sense(if the user has not modified registration page and you still stop/confirms them, It is irritating).
Please let me know which template pack are you using and I will supply the code.
Regards
BrajeshHi Tosin,
I am sorry, I could not get back to you.
I had a look again at buddypress.js and it seems BuddyPress already has this functionality.I have checked it with legacy template pack. There is no need for any extra code.
