When I post something with text only I’m able to edit the post just fine.
The issue I’m having has to do with all other posts when using RTMedia. For example when I click Edit on a post with an image, I get the following.
<div class="rtmedia-activity-container"><ul class="rtmedia-list rtm-activity-media-list rtmedia-activity-media-length-1 rtm-activity-photo-list"><li class="rtmedia-list-item media-type-photo"><a href="http://192.168.1.1/1/bill/media/409/"> <div class="rtmedia-item-thumbnail"> <img alt="Melissa 065" src="http://192.168.1.1/1/wp-content/uploads/img/members/1/2019/11/Melissa-065-960x721.jpg" /> </div> <div class="rtmedia-item-title"> Melissa 065 </div> </a></li></ul></div>
I would prefer the end user to be able to edit the text only.
Is this plugin capable with RTMedia?
Thanks.
Hi,
We do not have compatibility with RT Media. It injects the html in the activity content and that’s why it is happening.A solution will be to disallow the editing of activity from RT media. Would you like that?

BrajeshHi John,
I had another look today.
I am sorry but this is not doable now. RT Media does not create an activity of a different type. So we can not skip it. I am not sure if this behaviour of RT Media has changed or I mistook it for MediaPress’s type.In order to skip an activity, we need to identify the type or some attribute. I don’t see that with RT Media activity updates.
