[Resolved] Buddypress follow plugin and buddypress 12.0.0

    Hello Brajesh,

    I want to pass a notice regarding the popular buddypress follow plugin. I decided to test buddypress 12.0.0 beta 1 & 2 and noticed that clicking the user navigation menu for following and followers tab triggers an error.

    Do you have any resolution for this since the original plugin author is not responding to requests for plugin maintenance and takeover.

    The plugin will not be compatible with buddypress 12.0 and this might lead to a dead end for us building our community connections around the follow plugin.

    Hi Brajesh,

    Please note that this issue is now resolved as the updated follow plugin at github now works without errors with buddypress 12.0.0 beta 2

    KINDLY NOTE – The problem was caused by a specific plugin conflict with https://wordpress.org/plugins/mark-new-posts/ Its quite strange but immediately I deactivated Mark New Post plugin there was no more error with the buddypress follow plugin
