Buddypress Profile Completion not working

    Does anyone have Buddypress Profile Completion working. On my site if I have it set to require completion of required fields even after the user completes the required fields they are still locked into their profile and cannot access the site. Has anyone else run into this or know of a fix?

    Hi Earl,
    Which field types are you using? It does not support repeater fields?

    Are you using any other plugin related to profile fields/data visibility?

    Profile fields used Are Name required Second name not required, birthdate required set at signup, member type required set a signup, gender radio required, bio required, country required, terms and conditions required set at sign up. Additionally Web site and city. The city uses the x location from Philopress

    Hi Earl,
    Thank you for the details.

    The plugin checks if a field has data using custom query to avoid performance loss. It does not check what data is stored inside it and if that is valid or not.

    If one of the custom field type is storing data in the field but that field is not valid, It will still consider that field as complete.

    Please try disabling custom field type in the required section of BP Profile completion to check which field type caused it and let me know. I might have better idea then.

    I only have 3 setting options in my BP completion
    All required fields
    Profile picture
    Cover photo

    Don’t see an option for the specific custom field.

    Hi Earl,
    I am sorry, I got confused with some other plugin i worked on. You are right there are only 3 settings.

    Does it work if you disable the required field checkbox in plugin settings? If yes, can you please check again and see if all the required fields from all profile field group are filled?
