[Resolved] BuddyPress Profile Visibility Manager – default setting for visibility

    Hi,

    In the settings it is shown “If you enable, users will be able to set preference for friends list visibility.”

    But the default value of the dropdown list “Who Can See your friends?” in the user account is “Everyone”.

    Due to the GDPR it should be “Only me (private)” as default, the user can / must then enable other visibility options.

    So how I can set “Only me (private)” as default?

    Hi Eric,
    Please visit Dashboard-> Settings->Profile Visibility and from the “Default Settings” tab, please select the specific privacy.

    That will do it for all the new users.
