    Hi,
Thanks again for this good plugin. But is has a missfunction: if a visited uder profile has hidden his connection tab for example, the My connection tab of buddyboss in the visiting user profile menu is also hidden. This may not occur. Can you please check and distinguish in the code between these two cases / locations?
    Thanks, kind regards
    Eric

    Hi Eric,
That’s a limitation of BuddyPress/BuddyBoss. It lacks context(my vs other for nav) and there is not much we can do about it.

    Hi,
Oh, but please is there a possibility to work with template overwrite or css in the item of the profile menu?
    Thanks, kind regards

    Other idea:
distinguish in the code between viewer and viewed, so only the code is enabled for the viewed content? Is this probably possible?
Or css added by your profile tab plugin to the tabs?

    Hi Eric,
We are not adding css. We are using the actual core functions for removing nav item.

The problem is BuddyPress/BuddyBoss does not have any context about the nav item(where it is added for loggged or viewed). That’s why it gets removed from the visitors account dropdown nav too if it is not present on the user being viewed.

There are multiple solutions but the core platform(BP/BB) needs to provide us a way to achieve it. We won’t be using css as that will not apply the real removal of tab(and will be a security issue).

    Regards
    Brajesh

    Hi,
Ok, I ment to add css to distinguish with the code, but I see, that wold be not possible. And it is not possible with template overwrite to add a hook or so to distinguish?
    There is really no way?
    Thanks, kind regards
    Eric
