Hi everyone,
We have a small issue with MediaPress (probably easily resolvable).
We want to change default preview icons for videos and documents.
We made our own images and changed them in MediaPress – All Galleries – Edit Gallery, but:
– When we upload new files they are still showing old images
– Old files are not updated to new images as well. So, to clarify, we want to have our own images automatically assigned when users upload some video or document on activity stream.
What is the best way to accomplish this? Is this a plugin bug or are we missing something?
Kind regards,
MilanHi again,
Just to additionally clarify our question.
We are aware that cover image can be changed for each item (inside Gallery “Upload New Cover” option).
What we want is to change default cover (which is currently black camera image), so we don’t have to do it manually for every item.
Thank you in advance.
Kind regards,
MilanHi Milan,
Thank you for the question. You can specify the icons in your theme/child theme.
Please create the following directory structure in your active theme “mediapress/default/assets/images”
Now, you can override all the default icons/thumbnails. For all the list of icons, please check your “wp-content/plugins/mediapress/templates/mediapress/default/assets/images”
You can override any/all of them. Please keep the file name same in your template override.
Hope that helps.
Regards
